Christmas Cards

Hello Everyone,

Ok so I thought I was ahead of the Christmas rush and had all my Christmas cards made and then bam!  I have had weekly Dr.visits since after Thanksgiving and minor surgery on Monday. All is healing well and God willing the results well be negative. Hopefully I’ll hear something tomorrow and I won’t have to go thru Christmas week waiting for results. I am sure all is fine, but the what if’s can overwork your mind.
Well enough of my cryptic worrisome mind. I have enjoyed keeping my mind busy by being in my craft room. I was blog hopping and saw someone’s design team using Dr.Digi’s House of Stamps images and was compelled to go shopping!!  To my surprise I was the 1001 person to order, I won a free digital image! Isn’t that an AWESOME surprise?! I am always looking for male digi’s and Dr.Digi’s House of Stamps has plenty. Well today’s card was created with I'm Dreaming of a Wide Christmas by… Dr.Digi’s House of Stamps , Martha Stewarts Floral lace border punch, AC Specialty Paper Foil and embossing edge, AC Patterned paper Christmas, ribbon by Celebrate It.

V for Vintage at Alphabet Challenge Blog

Hello Bloggers,

I hope you had a nice week...mine was a little crazy! But I made it through and thankfully it's the weekend. Today’s card I made for my Design Team post At Alphabet Challenge Blog . A while back I won a prize of vintage images called Spa Time Digital Collage from Peggy Loves Vintage and I thought this card would be perfect for my grandma. The faraway paper is from Alphabets and Ornaments by Memories of a Lifetime book. It’s a book of vintage artwork for scrapbooks. I love the faraway paper perfect for grandma's card she lives 300 miles away and it feels pretty far away at times. Love how simple and easy this card came together.

I would like to enter my card into the following challenges:

Challenges 4 Everybody -Anything Goes
Forever Friends - Christmas Give Away
Joanna Sheen Challenge - Anything Goes excludes Christmas

Enjoy your weekend, and stay safe and aware of your surroundings while shopping.

Thanks for stopping by.

Twilight Marathon

Hello bloggers,

Did you see Breaking Dawn 2? We wanted to do something special for the last movie of the saga, and went to the Twilight Marathon Thursday. I made cards with Pixie Dust Studio 's Twilight digital images, plus snacks and brought water and decorated them with HWTM Daily Blog printables We had so much fun! We meet so many nice people. We meet Latoya who had gone to the marathon alone, so we sat together and went to lunch and breaks in shifts. By the end of the night we were all tired, but we enjoyed the experience so much. Our theater went crazy ...people were jumping out of their seats...screaming and crying all at once. Bill Condon and Stephanie Meyer gave Twilight fans an epic finish!

I'd like to enter my Twilight invitations into the following :
Craft Punked - Anything Goes
Forever Friends - Anything Goes

Laptop Baby Contest on Facebook Mo's Digital Pencil

Hello Everyone,

Have you ever been so excited to get a free digital image you couldn’t wait to go home?! Well with so many obligations already planned for last week I finally got a chance to finish up my card. The excitement builds, because Maurie of Mo’s Digital Pencil is having a contest. If you have seen her design team’s work…you know the bar is set real high! Plus you are putting your work for all of Facebook to see.Ok…enough of my anxieties. I finished the card around 12am and couldn’t figure out how to post my card on Maurie J. Manning’s Facebook wall! I finally figured out...I don't use Facebook as much as I should ever since the Timeline page came along. I got used to one format, plus I just changed my page and I am trying to figure it out. Anywho...
The contest was to figure a clever sentiment for the Laptop Baby freebie she gave out. My sentiment …bites! But there will be two random winners…& I am crossing my fingers my Twilight laptop baby gets picked!

Thanks for blog hopping to my virtual world.

Roxx.

H for Handmade Flowers at Alphabet Challenge Blog

Hello Crafty bloggers,

Today’s card was created from a book I bought at Hobby Lobby at least a year ago! The book is called Fabulous Folds, but it has a lot of projects that seem to promote a Fabulous folds templates! This was very discouraging! I mean when you buy a book and I expected it to teach me every projects in the book. It does but in order to do the projects you have to buy sevral template. So don't sound like a complete Negative Nelly, I should say it does have some free templates in the back of the book.I did learn how to do this lovely flower, which took no time to make!

Stop on by Alphabet Challenge Blog and join in .
