OCC CHALLENGE

I did it! I made the OCC challenge! This week I've managed to create two cards for two different challenges. For now I'll just show you the OCC challenge card. I made this card using; coffee cardstock from Hobby Lobby, Leaf/ivy pattern paper is from Studio D the First Blush collection. Once again I've used some wallpaper sample and placed my stamped & colored image on top. Ribbon by Martha Stewart. I hope you like it.

Party invites

Has this month flown by or has it flown by?? All I've managed to do is a few fathers’ day cards and another party invitation. Bella turns 3 this year and she wants to have a pirate party. So Auntie Roxanne made scull and cross bones invitations. These would make good Halloween invites too.
Too easy to make! Welded together with my design studio and a few dimensional and Bam! The card is done. My honey bought me a cuddle bug this weekend and I can't wait to see what I will create next. Hopefully I'll show you what I've created this week. Happy Sunday!

Color Dare

I made this card for Color Dare CD19 in which you were to use: Baja Breeze, Kiwi Kiss, and So Saffron.I used color's I thought closely resembled each color. I won't go into to detail as to how I made the card, because it is a very simple card. One father's day card down two more to go.

Gardening

My Weekend is almost gone and I haven't made one single card this week!
I'm planning on making one Father's day card today even if it kills me.
I garden and love to take pictures. I can't say I'm a photographer, because I'm not.
I'm still learning my camera which I've had for a year now. ...Anyhow here’s a few photo's of what I did yesterday & what I captured with my camera.

Malia 1st Birthday invitations

The Weeks have flown by...So much so that I almost ran out of time!
I made Malia's 1st birthday invitations. This is the first time I've ever tried to make invitations. What an accomplishment it was! I mean WOW I did it! My first ten invitations were done over a weekend and I thought they turned out great. Well I took them to work and a friend pointed out the hinge was too fragile. She was right...Well I could tell I just hadn't thought how to fix it..I guess I thought they'd be ok. I made this card with my cricut and design studio. I added two shadows of a flower welded together. That corrected the first ten. I then went to my original cut file and added more circles to the hinge and that gave the card a more study hinge.I used plan white card stock and painted metallic white paint over body and face. I used chalk for the nose and mouth and dimensional for head, body & hair.
Here's my card:
